UCLA Bruins head baseball coach John Savage has been named the 2013 Coach of the Year by the Los Angeles Sports Council.
Savage guided the Bruins to their first NCAA College World Series Championship in June completing a two-game sweep of Mississippi State in the best two-out-of-three championship series taking the title-clinching game, 8-0.
