In his pregame press conference, Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers was asked how he was going to have his team approach his former one – the Boston Celtics.

 “We have to approach our team.” Said Rivers. “That’s how we approach the Celtics. With all the injuries and thing’s we’re dealing with, we can’t afford to look at anything but our team every night.”

The Los Angeles Clippers enter their third game without all-star point guard Chris Paul tonight when they host the Boston Celtics at Staples Center.

Paul went down with a separated right shoulder last week in Dallas against the Mavericks that’ll keep him out of the lineup for six weeks.

Prior to Monday night’s game against the Orlando Magic at Staples Center, Los Angeles Clippers all-star point guard Chris Paul addressed the media for the first time since separating his right shoulder in last Friday’s win over the Mavericks in Dallas.

Saying he was done feeling sorry for himself after being put on the injured list for six weeks, Paul and head coach Doc Rivers said he would become a part-time assistant helping out from the bench.

While 2013 ended with a 107-88 thud for the Los Angeles Clippers at the hands of the Phoenix Suns, the Clippers rang in 2014 with a loud bang declawing the Charlotte Bobcats at Staples Center, 112-85.

Clippers forward Blake Griffin is on a tear averaging 30 points in the last five games including a 40 point, 10 rebound performance in the Clippers 98-90 win over the Utah Jazz Saturday night at Staples Center.

Clippers rolling despite “jet-lag.” Jordan’s game “Russell-esque?”

Traveling across country is always a difficult proposition for anyone. Especially for professional athletes – let’s say like a basketball team.

Thanks to the Disney On Ice holiday extravaganza taking over Staples Center the first two weeks of December, the Los Angeles Clippers took to the road for an east coast swing where they were able to win four out of the seven games on the roadie.

Clippers’ Jordan dominates in L.A.’s 108-95 win over New Orleans

The Los Angeles Clippers looked pretty good in beating the New Orleans Pelicans, 108-95, Wednesday night at Staples Center. It was the Clippers fifth win in six games. Clippers’ Paul not in starting line-up and out vs. Sacramento; Redick lost too

After being cleared to play by team trainers, Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers decided to keep all-star point guard Chris Paul out of the line-up for Friday night’s game in Sacramento against the Kings.

Paul mildly strained his right hamstring Wednesday night in the third quarter of the Clippers 93-80 win over the New York Knicks leaving the game never to return for Los Angeles.

Clippers look to keep on a defensive roll in Sacramento against the Kings

After putting away the New York Knicks Wednesday night at Staples Center and enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday off, the Los Angeles Clippers (11-5) head to the California state capital Friday night to take on a Sacramento Kings (4-9) team they’ll face for the third time in the first 17 games of the season….and that doesn’t include another two times during the pre-season.
